URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Wilmington OH 256 PM EDT Fri Jun 20 2025 ...EXTREME HEAT WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING... * WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 105 possible. * WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio. * WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through Tuesday evening. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Consecutive days of excessive heat and humidity can be especially hazardous as warm overnight temperatures will provide little relief. The heat may continue into Wednesday. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in air-conditioned rooms, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
