URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Mount Holly NJ 206 AM EDT Sat Jun 21 2025 ...EXTREME HEAT WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM SUNDAY TO 8 PM EDT WEDNESDAY... * WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 109 expected. * WHERE...Mercer, Middlesex, Morris, Somerset, Sussex, Warren, and Hunterdon Counties. * WHEN...From 8 AM Sunday to 8 PM EDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The highest temperatures and heat indices will be Monday and Tuesday. Low temperatures near 75 to 80 degrees will not offer much relief at night. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles.
