URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service State College PA 328 PM EDT Sun Jun 22 2025 ...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT WEDNESDAY... * WHAT...Heat index values up to 100. * WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania. * WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The highest heat index will occur in the urban valley locations. Temperatures in the 70s overnight will provide little if any relief. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay out of the sun, and stay in an air-conditioned room. Check up on relatives and neighbors, and provide pets with adequate water and shelter from the sun. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing.
