BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED Flash Flood Warning National Weather Service El Paso Tx/Santa Teresa NM 325 PM MDT Tue Jun 24 2025 The National Weather Service in El Paso Tx/Santa Teresa has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for... West Central Sierra County in south central New Mexico... * Until 630 PM MDT. * At 325 PM MDT, thunderstorms were producing heavy rain east of the Black Range and west of the Rio Grande Valley. Runoff from these storms will cause water to flow in Palomas Creek, Seco Creek, and Animas Creek. Low water crossings will likely become inundated, especially in Palomas Canyon and along Animas Creek. Across the warned area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
