URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Mount Holly NJ 325 AM EDT Wed Jun 25 2025 ...EXTREME HEAT WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 105. * WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Pennsylvania. * WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Consecutive days of extreme heat can have cumulative effects on the body and exacerbates the total impact of a dangerous heat wave. Low temperatures in the mid-70s and high humidity will not offer much relief from the heat tonight. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes. If you do not have air conditioning in your home or lack shelter, you can call 211 for assistance locating appropriate shelter from the heat.
