Northern Union County in Upstate South Carolina... * Until 645 PM EDT. * At 527 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 4 miles south of Forest City, moving south at 15 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to trees and power lines. * Locations impacted include... Spartanburg, Gaffney, Boiling Springs SC, Lyman, Pacolet, Cowpens, Wellford, Inman, Mayo, and Roebuck.
