Southern Scott County in east central Iowa... Southeastern Rock Island County in northwestern Illinois... * Until 415 AM CDT Friday. * At 1010 PM CDT, trained weather spotters reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen, which has led to 2 to 3 feet of water on roads in parts of the Quad Cities Metro. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Trained spotters reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
