Benton County in east central Iowa... Northwestern Linn County in east central Iowa... Buchanan County in northeastern Iowa... Western Delaware County in northeastern Iowa... * Until 400 AM CDT Saturday. * At 709 PM CDT, emergency management reported flash flooding due to heavy rainfall continues to be seen across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.0 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Emergency management reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Cedar Rapids, Independence, Vinton, Manchester, Hiawatha, Robins, Belle Plaine, Center Point, Fairfax, Atkins, Walford, Urbana, Palo, Shellsburg, Newhall, Edgewood, Winthrop, Walker, Blairstown and Van Horne.
