Flood Watch National Weather Service New York NY 402 PM EDT Mon Jul 14 2025 ...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT EDT TONIGHT... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of southeast New York, including the following area, New York (Manhattan). * WHEN...Until midnight EDT tonight. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of urban, low lying, and flood prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Numerous showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain are expected late this afternoon and this evening. Widespread rainfall of 1 to 2 inches and localized rainfall totals of up to 3 inches are possible, with rainfall rates of over 2 inches per hour possible.
