Air Quality Alert Message Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Madison WI relayed by National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan WI 926 AM CDT Wed Jul 16 2025 The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has issued an Air Quality Advisory for the following counties: Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Sheboygan. WHAT...The Ozone AQI is expected to reach the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups (USG) to Unhealthy level. WHERE...Southern Lake Michigan shoreline. WHEN...From noon until 7 PM today. Precautionary/Preparedness Actions: Sensitive groups: Do not do long or intense outdoor activities. Schedule outdoor activities in the morning when ozone is lower. Consider moving activities indoors. People with asthma: Follow your asthma action plan and keep quick-relief medicine handy. Everyone else: Reduce long or intense outdoor activity. Take more breaks, do less intense activities.
