Flood Advisory National Weather Service New Orleans LA 455 AM CDT Thu Jul 17 2025 ...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM CDT THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Louisiana, including the following parishes, Ascension, Assumption, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberville, Lafourche, Livingston, Pointe Coupee, St. Charles, St. Helena, St. James, St. John The Baptist, Terrebonne, West Baton Rouge and West Feliciana. * WHEN...Until 800 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 455 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
