URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service El Paso Tx/Santa Teresa NM 1116 AM MDT Sat Aug 2 2025 ...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON MONDAY TO 9 PM MDT TUESDAY... * WHAT...Temperatures of 103 to 107 expected. * WHERE...Eastern/Central El Paso County, Rio Grande Valley of Eastern El Paso/Western Hudspeth Counties, Rio Grande Valley of Eastern Hudspeth County, and Western El Paso County. * WHEN...From noon Monday to 9 PM MDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The Heat Advisory may need to be extended through midweek. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
