By Sunday and Monday, the focus of rain will shift toward the southern coast of Puerto Rico, while showers and thunderstorms will continue to stream across the Virgin Islands. ...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT AST TONIGHT THROUGH MONDAY EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...All of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. * WHEN...From midnight AST tonight through Monday evening. * IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Rainfall from Erin will affect the local area through early next week. The heaviest rain is expected along southern and eastern Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands, with accumulations ranging from 2 to 4 inches, and isolated amounts up to 6 inches through the entire period. The northwestern quadrant of Puerto Rico will receive 1 to 2 inches, and isolated amounts up to 4 inches. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
