Overnight low temperatures in the mid 60s to 70s. Widespread Moderate HeatRisk with areas of Major HeatRisk. * WHERE...Carquinez Strait and Delta, Mountains Southwestern Shasta County to Western Colusa County, Shasta Lake Area / Northern Shasta County, Sacramento Valley and Northern San Joaquin Valley. * WHEN...From 11 AM Friday to 11 PM PDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during heat events, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside.
