Special Weather Statement National Weather Service Marquette MI 327 AM EDT Thu Aug 21 2025 ...PATCHES OF DENSE FOG THIS MORNING... Patchy dense fog is resulting in some localized low visibility this morning across the UP. Visibility below a quarter of a mile is possible at times. Because of the patchy nature of the fog, visibility may rapidly change over the course of a single commute. Drivers should drive at safe speeds, use low beam headlights, and provide appropriate space behind the vehicle ahead in traffic.
