URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Hanford CA 702 AM PDT Fri Aug 22 2025 ...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING TO 8 AM PDT SUNDAY... * WHAT...High temperatures up to 107 expected. Warm overnight lows in the low to mid 70s from Friday until Sunday morning. * WHERE...A portion of central California. * WHEN...From 11 AM this morning to 8 AM PDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
