Coastal Hazard Message National Weather Service Baltimore MD/Washington DC 210 PM EDT Sat Aug 23 2025 ...COASTAL FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EDT SUNDAY... * WHAT...Around two feet of inundation above ground level in low lying areas due to tidal flooding. * WHERE...Shoreline in Anne Arundel County. * WHEN...Until 10 AM EDT Sunday, especially around the time of high tide. * IMPACTS...At 3.2 feet, water begins to approach businesses on Dock Street in Annapolis. The City Dock parking lot is flooded. Compromise Street is flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one and a half to two feet above normal. The next high tide at Annapolis U.S. Naval Academy is at 6:14 PM and 6:46 AM. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.
