Flood Watch National Weather Service Tucson AZ 1001 AM MST Mon Aug 25 2025 ...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 7 PM MST THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be developing early this afternoon across eastern Pima and Santa Cruz counties and push to the west northwest across the lower deserts of Pima and south-central Pinal county. Some of these thunderstorms will be capable of producing very heavy rain in a short period of time leading to the potential of flash flooding. * WHERE...A portion of Southeast Arizona, including the following areas, Baboquivari Mountains, Catalina and Rincon Mountains, South Central Pinal County, Tohono O'odham Nation, Tucson Metro Area, Upper Santa Cruz River Valley/Altar Valley and Western Pima County. * WHEN...Until 7 PM MST this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
