Flood Watch National Weather Service Los Angeles/Oxnard CA 1027 AM PDT Thu Sep 18 2025 ...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT... * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of southwest California, including the following areas, Antelope Valley, Eastern Antelope Valley Foothills, Eastern San Gabriel Mountains, Interstate 5 Corridor, Northern Ventura County Mountains, Western Antelope Valley Foothills and Western San Gabriel Mountains and Highway 14 Corridor. * WHEN...Through late tonight. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Debris flows possible in recently burnt areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - An additional round of heavy showers and thunderstorms could bring local rainfall rates to one-half to one inch per hour, capable of flash flooding and debris flows.
