URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Great Falls MT 134 PM MDT Fri Oct 3 2025 ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT SATURDAY NIGHT TO NOON MDT SUNDAY... * WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. * WHERE...The Highwood, Little Belt, Judith, and Snowy Mountains, and Southern Rocky Mountain Front. * WHEN...From midnight Saturday Night to noon MDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Cold, wet, and raw outdoor conditions. Increased risk for hypothermia for those not properly dressed for the weather. Forest roads may become difficult to travel or impassible due to muddy and slushy conditions. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Isolated power outages for areas that receive heavier snow falling onto power lines and or trees with full foliage.
