Special Weather Statement National Weather Service Lincoln IL 240 PM CDT Sat Oct 4 2025 ...Elevated Fire Danger on Sunday... Due to ongoing drought conditions, relative humidity values dropping into the 25-35% range, and southerly winds gusting over 20mph...an enhanced fire danger will develop on Sunday. Burning is highly discouraged as any fires that form will spread quickly and could become hard to control. In addition to the fire risk, motorists should be aware of possible visibility reductions in a few spots on area roadways as dust from harvesting activities gets lofted by the gusty winds.
