URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Denver CO 556 AM MDT Mon Oct 20 2025 ...FREEZE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 8 AM MDT TUESDAY... * WHAT...Freezing or near freezing low temperatures between 29 and 34 degrees. The coldest readings will occur from Fort Collins through Longmont, and also east and south of Denver metro. * WHERE...Boulder and the western suburbs of Denver, Denver, Castle Rock, and Byers. * WHEN...From midnight tonight to 8 AM MDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation. Damage may also occur to unprotected outdoor plumbing. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold, either moving them indoors or covering with blankets. To prevent water pipes from freezing, wrap or drain any above ground sprinkler systems.
