URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Coastal Hazard Message National Weather Service Baltimore MD/Washington DC 1048 AM EDT Wed Oct 29 2025 ...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 10 PM EDT THURSDAY... * WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level in low- lying areas due to tidal flooding. * WHERE...Shoreline in Southern Baltimore County and the City of Baltimore. * WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 10 PM EDT Thursday, especially around the time of high tide. The highest tides will be Thursday late morning through early afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 3.5 feet, flooding is occurring at the end of Thames Street in Baltimore. Water covers the promenade in the Inner Harbor in multiple locations. At 3.0 feet, water begins encroaching upon yards in the Bowleys Quarters area. Near moderate flooding is possible in the Bowleys Quarters area early Thursday afternoon. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides up to 3 feet above normal, peaking Thursday late morning through early afternoon. The next high tides at Fort McHenry Baltimore are at 12:50 PM this afternoon and 1:22 AM overnight. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth.
