URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Burlington VT 1210 PM EST Mon Nov 10 2025 ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 7 AM EST TUESDAY... * WHAT...Snow and mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 5 inches and ice accumulations up to one tenth of an inch. * WHERE...Portions of northern Vermont. * WHEN...From 3 PM this afternoon to 7 AM EST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday evening commute and possibly the Tuesday morning commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A burst of heavy precipitation will change from rain to snow this evening with a brief period of wintry mix in between. Snowfall rates exceeding 1 inch per hour are likely. Steady snow will end by 10 PM, but as temperatures near freezing cool slippery travel may continue overnight.
