Special Weather Statement National Weather Service Raleigh NC 502 PM EST Mon Nov 17 2025 ...INCREASED FIRE DANGER FROM 11 AM TO 6 PM EST TUESDAY... Anomalously dry air and fuels, combined with a southwesterly wind that will strengthen and occasionally gust to around 20 mph during the afternoon, will produce increased fire danger Tuesday. Outdoor burning is discouraged. Please consult your local burn permitting authorities as to whether burning is allowed. If you must burn, use extreme caution, as fires can spread rapidly under these conditions.
