Special Weather Statement National Weather Service Greenville-Spartanburg SC 504 AM EST Sat Dec 6 2025 ...AREAS OF DENSE FOG THIS MORNING... Areas of dense fog, reducing visibility to 1/2 mile or less, will impact portions of the northern Foothills and Northwest Piedmont of North Carolina and the Upstate of South Carolina this morning. This includes areas along I-40 from Marion east to Mocksville and along I-85. If traveling in these areas, be prepared for reduced visibility. Slow down and use low beam headlights if fog is encountered. The fog is expected to dissipate by late morning.
