URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Rapid City SD 730 AM MST Thu Dec 11 2025 ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM MST THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Freezing rain. Additional ice accumulations around a light glaze. * WHERE...Northern Meade Co Plains, Northern Perkins, Southern Perkins, Ziebach, and Haakon. * WHEN...Until 11 AM MST this morning. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Very slippery sidewalks, roads and bridges are possible. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning commute. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
