Special Weather Statement National Weather Service Morristown TN 1120 PM EST Sat Dec 13 2025 ...Light Snow Accumulations in the Mountains of East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia Early This Morning... Light rain will transition into snow into the early morning hours. Light snow accumulations will be possible in higher elevations of southwest Virginia and the East Tennessee mountains. Accumulations will generally be one inch or less, but, isolated totals up to two inches will be possible in the highest peaks and ridges. Motorists should be cautious of slippery road conditions, especially across the higher elevations and elevated surfaces such as bridges and overpasses, for Sunday morning commutes.
