URGENT - FIRE WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Denver/Boulder CO 923 PM MST Mon Dec 15 2025 ...FIRE WEATHER WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY MORNING THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR THE FRONT RANGE FOOTHILLS, THE DENVER METRO AREA, WELD, ADAMS, AND ARAPAHOE COUNTIES... * AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 238, 239, 240, 242, 243 and 245. * TIMING...From Wednesday morning through Wednesday afternoon. * WINDS...West 20 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 15 percent. * IMPACTS...Conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread.
