URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Pendleton OR 1243 AM PST Tue Dec 16 2025 ...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 4 PM PST WEDNESDAY... * WHAT...Southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 65 mph expected. * WHERE...Portions of north central and northeast Oregon and central, south central, and southeast Washington. * WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 4 PM PST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Wind gusts along the foothills of the Blue Mountains may potentially exceed 70 mph at time during the overnight period Tuesday into Wednesday. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution if you must drive.
