URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Flood Watch National Weather Service Seattle WA 233 PM PST Wed Dec 17 2025 .Most rivers have crested or will crest by tomorrow, however a few rivers could still have renewed flooding. ...FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT THROUGH FRIDAY AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Washington, including the following counties, in northwest Washington, Grays Harbor and Skagit. In west central Washington, King, Pierce and Thurston. * WHEN...Through Friday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - With rivers running high and with another rain event tomorrow, uncertainty in how much rain, the snow fall level, and snow melt, leaves the possibility of further flooding.
