Coastal Hazard Message National Weather Service San Diego CA 204 PM PST Wed Dec 24 2025 ...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM PST SATURDAY... * WHAT...Large breaking waves of 5 to 8 feet with local sets to 9 feet, highest for south-facing beaches. * WHERE...San Diego County Coastal Areas and Orange County Coastal Areas. * WHEN...Until 11 AM PST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Surf heights will come down early Thursday, but are expected to rise again Friday and last through early Saturday. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions.
