URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Marquette MI 324 AM EST Sat Dec 27 2025 ...WINTER STORM WATCH NOW IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY EVENING THROUGH MONDAY EVENING... * WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 2 feet possible. Winds could gust as high as 60 mph near the lakeshore and in the Keweenaw. * WHERE...Keweenaw, Houghton, Baraga, Marquette, Alger, Schoolcraft, and Luce Counties. * WHEN...From Sunday evening through Monday evening. * IMPACTS...Whiteout conditions are possible and may make travel treacherous and potentially life-threatening. Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes.
