URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Binghamton NY 1235 AM EST Wed Jan 7 2026 ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM EST THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Mixed precipitation. Additional snow accumulations up to one inch and ice accumulations around one tenth of an inch. * WHERE...Northern Oneida and Southern Oneida Counties. * WHEN...Until 11 AM EST this morning. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Locally up to around one quarter inch of ice accumulation is possible near and just north of the Mohawk Valley. Precipitation type will fluctuate between rain and freezing rain during the predawn hours this morning, though snow will be possible in northern Oneida County.
