URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Gaylord MI 235 AM EST Thu Jan 15 2026 ...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 18 below. * WHERE...Mackinac Island/Bois Blanc Island, and Cheboygan, Crawford, Emmet, Montmorency, Ogemaw, Oscoda, Otsego, Presque Isle, and Roscommon Counties. * WHEN...Until 10 AM EST this morning. * IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 18 below zero could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
