URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Twin Cities/Chanhassen MN 137 AM CST Sun Jan 18 2026 ...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO NOON CST MONDAY... * WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 35 below expected. * WHERE...Portions of central, east central, south central, southeast, southwest, and west central Minnesota. * WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to noon CST Monday. * IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 35 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
