URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Chicago IL 303 AM CST Mon Jan 19 2026 ...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST TODAY... * WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 20 below to 25 below zero. * WHERE...Portions of central, east central, north central, and northeast Illinois. * WHEN...Until noon CST today. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
