URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Binghamton NY 1257 AM EST Tue Jan 20 2026 ...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 15 below. * WHERE...In New York, Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben, and Yates Counties. In Pennsylvania, Bradford, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Northern Wayne, Pike, Southern Wayne, Susquehanna, and Wyoming Counties. * WHEN...Until 10 AM EST this morning. * IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken. Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Wind gusts of 20 to 30 mph are possible through this morning. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
