URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Gray ME 1227 AM EST Fri Jan 23 2026 ...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 10 AM EST SATURDAY... * WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 25 below expected. * WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Maine and central and southern New Hampshire. * WHEN...From 1 AM to 10 AM EST Saturday. * IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
