URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Pittsburgh PA 1148 AM EST Fri Jan 23 2026 ...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 7 AM EST SATURDAY... * WHAT...Very cold wind chills between 10 below and 20 below zero expected. * WHERE...Portions of east central Ohio, southwest and western Pennsylvania, and northern and the northern panhandle of West Virginia. * WHEN...From 4 PM this afternoon to 7 AM EST Saturday. * IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
