URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service New York NY 105 PM EST Fri Jan 23 2026 ...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO NOON EST SATURDAY... * WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 14 below expected. * WHERE...Portions of southern Connecticut, northeast New Jersey, and southeast New York. * WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to noon EST Saturday. * IMPACTS...The cold wind chills could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Use caution while traveling outside.
