Total snow accumulations 2 to 5 inches in the most persistent lake snows. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. For the Winter Storm Warning, heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations 12 to 18 inches. * WHERE...Monroe, Wayne, and Northern Cayuga Counties. * WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 10 AM EST Saturday. For the Winter Storm Warning, from 7 AM Sunday to 7 AM EST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Lake effect snow is expected to develop behind the widespread snowfall Monday night.
