URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Marquette MI 912 PM EST Fri Jan 23 2026 ...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST SATURDAY... * WHAT...Moderate to heavy snowfall rates and blowing snow. Additional snow accumulations up to 4 inches, mainly along and north of M-28 and east of Munising. Winds gusting as high as 30 mph. * WHERE...Alger, Luce, and Northern Schoolcraft Counties. * WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Whiteout conditions are expected from time to time and will make travel treacherous and potentially life-threatening. Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
