URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Denver CO 844 PM MST Sun Jan 25 2026 ...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM MST MONDAY... * WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 23 below. * WHERE...The Denver metro, including eastern Boulder County, and south into the Palmer Divide, including Castle Rock and Larkspur. * WHEN...Until 9 AM MST Monday. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Unsheltered people will have a high risk of frostbite and hypothermia. Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure portable heaters are used correctly. Livestock and pets will be vulnerable to the cold, so ensure adequate sheltering during this extended period of cold weather. Make sure outdoor animals have a warm and dry shelter, food, and unfrozen water.
