URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Twin Cities/Chanhassen MN 259 AM CST Mon Jan 26 2026 ...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM CST THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 35 below expected. * WHERE...Portions of central, east central, south central, and southeast Minnesota and northwest and west central Wisconsin. * WHEN...Until 11 AM CST this morning. * IMPACTS...The very cold wind chills as low as 35 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
