Special Weather Statement National Weather Service Columbia SC 458 PM EST Mon Jan 26 2026 ...Patchy Black Ice on Roads and Other Paved Surfaces Tonight... Lingering moisture and runoff from Sunday's ice and rainfall will create patchy black ice on area roads during the overnight Monday and early morning hours Tuesday as temps drop into the teens. Icy spots could form on paved surfaces such as bridges and overpasses, primary and secondary roads, parking lots, sidewalks and driveways.
