URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Boston/Norton MA 1231 AM EST Thu Jan 29 2026 ...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 11 AM EST FRIDAY... * WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero expected. * WHERE...Much of Southern New England except for the Berkshires, northern hills of Worcester County, Cape Cod and the Islands. * WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 11 AM EST Friday. * IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
