URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Gray ME 1259 AM EST Thu Jan 29 2026 ...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 10 AM EST FRIDAY... * WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 20 below expected. * WHERE...Portions of southwest Maine and central, northern, and southern New Hampshire. * WHEN...From midnight tonight to 10 AM EST Friday. * IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
