URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Mount Holly NJ 1256 PM EST Thu Jan 29 2026 ...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM EST FRIDAY... * WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 15 below. * WHERE...In New Jersey, Morris, Sussex, and Warren Counties. In Pennsylvania, Berks, Lehigh, and Northampton Counties. * WHEN...Until 11 AM EST Friday. * IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. Keep pets indoors as much as possible. Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure portable heaters are used correctly.
