URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service State College PA 1237 PM EST Fri Jan 30 2026 ...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 10 AM EST SATURDAY... * WHAT...Very cold wind chills 10 to 19 degrees below zero expected. * WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania. * WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 10 AM EST Saturday. * IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 19 below zero could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Dangerously cold wind chills are possible again Saturday night into Sunday morning. Additional Cold Weather Advisories may be needed. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If outdoors, dress in layers and cover exposed skin.
